Position Overview

The Home Loan Processor plays a crucial role in the mortgage application process. This position will involve preparing and processing loans from application to closing, communicating with all parties involved, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Review loan applications and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Verify incomes, assets, and employment history of the applicants.
• Coordinate with underwriters to assess risk and ensure adherence to lending guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, loan officers, and real estate agents throughout the process.
• Prepare and issue disclosures, including the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure.
• Conduct quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Assist in training and mentoring new processors and support staff.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage processing or related roles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of loan processing software and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of RESPA, TRID, and other regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
