Position Overview

The Property Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, financially viable, and compliant with local regulations. This role requires a proactive and strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all aspects of property management, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
• Conduct property inspections and coordinate repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Monitor market trends and rental rates to implement competitive pricing strategies.
• Prepare and manage property budgets, including operating expenses and capital improvements.
• Ensure timely collection of rent and manage accounts receivable.
• Address tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and implement property marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
• Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including lease signings and security deposit management.
• Build relationships with local service providers and contractors to ensure the best service for our properties.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for each property.
• Stay updated on local laws and regulations affecting property management to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Property Manager position will possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or a related role.
• Strong understanding of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize duties, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and regulations.
