Key Responsibilities

As an SAP Computer Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Monitoring and managing SAP systems operation to ensure high availability and performance.
• Executing regular SAP job scheduling and managing errors or performance issues as they arise.
• Facilitating data backups and recovery processes, adhering to protocols for system security and integrity.
• Maintaining documentation related to system settings, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
• Providing first-level support to users encountering issues with SAP modules, escalating complex problems as necessary.
• Collaborating with IT and other departments to support software upgrades and system enhancements.
• Assisting in the training of new staff members on SAP system functionalities and operational procedures.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for our SAP Computer Operator jobs should possess the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for education.
• Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar role, particularly with SAP systems.
• Strong understanding of SAP ERP and its components, including materials management (MM), sales and distribution (SD), and financial accounting (FI).
• Proficient in operating systems, databases, and workplace productivity software.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changes quickly.
