We are currently seeking a dedicated Skating Director to manage our skating programs and elevate the skating experience for our community.

Responsibilities

As our Skating Director, you will play a vital role in enhancing our skating programs and overall operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing innovative skating programs for all skill levels and ages.
• Supervising skating coaches, staff, and volunteers to ensure effective program delivery.
• Overseeing scheduling of ice time and managing the budget for the skating programs.
• Creating and fostering partnerships with schools, community groups, and local organizations.
• Organizing events, competitions, and exhibitions to promote skating within the community.
• Conducting regular assessments of program effectiveness and participant satisfaction.
• Implementing safety protocols and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a unique mix of leadership, experience, and passion for the sport. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Physical Education, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a skating or sports management role, with prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of figure skating and/or ice hockey, including coaching experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using computer programs for scheduling, budgeting, and communication.
