The Role

You will manage a team of skilled testers, develop testing strategies, and advocate for quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the testing team, providing mentorship and guidance.
• Develop, implement, and maintain testing strategies, methodologies, and tools.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including developers and project managers, to ensure testing needs are met.
• Define, document, and communicate testing processes and standards.
• Oversee the creation of test plans, test scripts, and test cases.
• Conduct regular reviews of test results, report on findings, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Foster a culture of quality across the organization, advocating for quality-driven practices.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our testing practices remain competitive.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software testing, with at least 4-5 years in a Test Manager or lead testing role.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
