Job Description
As a Home Care Aide, you will be responsible for providing high-quality personal care and companionship to our clients in their own homes. Your primary role will include, but is not limited to:
- Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administering medications as prescribed and ensuring clients adhere to their care plans.
- Providing companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Preparing meals and assisting with nutritional needs.
- Light housekeeping, including laundry and tidying up living spaces.
- Communicating effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who possess the following qualifications:
- A genuine passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives.
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is a plus, but not mandatory as training will be provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare is a plus.
